AGE: 56
D.O.B.: October 31st
ALLEGIANCE: DE / purebloods, of course.
PROFESSION: bad ass, no really he is. As far as jobs go, he works for the Ministry in the Misuse of Magic office.
WAND TYPE: Acromantula Fang and Holly, 12 inches

EYE COLOUR: dark brown
HEIGHT: six foot four
WEIGHT: 200 lbs
BODY TYPE: tall and lean, with a bit of muscle tone and definition.
VOICE: cold, harsh, deep, and sometimes a bit throaty with an infusion of false sincerity in every word.
PERSONAL STYLE: He likes to dress elegantly and flashily. He always has to be the best dressed one at the party, that's just how it goes.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Rabastan is an attractive fellow and he knows it. He prides himself in his appearance. He's always wearing the newest and latest of fashions and he could never be seen wearing something that was so 'last year'. No, he has to dress to impress and that's what he intends on doing. He likes wowing crowds with his sometimes eccentric, always conversational, very exotic and fashionable dress. He does not like being outdone by anyone whether it be female or male.
He has long rich dark brown hair that falls past his to his shoulders or slightly past. He loves long hair on himself and on the opposite sex. He hates himself with short hair and so refuses to cut his hair except to trim off the dead ends every once in a blue moon. Even then he is sorry that he ever has to part with his hair and he has a hard time letting his hair go. After all, he is rather attached to it, literally and figuratively speaking.
He has a rather pale complexion, but he doesn't mind this if it gets people to think that he's a vampire, then fine, at least they'll leave him alone. He has a tall lithe frame and brown eyes. They are dark and gloomy and remind one of looking into the eye of a storm whether it be a thunder storm or a tsunami. He has strong masculine features and the high arched cheek bones of the Lestrange's. However, his lips are large and feminine in appearance, something that annoys him immensely.

BROTHER(S): Rodolphus Lestrange
SISTER(S) [BY MARRIAGE]: Bellatrix Lestrange
OTHER:
Lucius Malfoy - sibling-in-law
Narcissa Malfoy - sibling-in-law
Draco Malfoy - nephew
Holly Malfoy - great niece
BLOOD STATUS: Pure, duh!
HOMETOWN: London
CURRENT RESIDENCE: Lestrange Manor, not to be confused with his brother's house with the same name.
BIOGRAPHY: Rabstan was born the second and last son of Cronus and Rhea Lestrange. He was thankful that he didn't have a mythical name to put up with or a clunky name like Rodolphus. Rabastan had much more flair to it. As a baby he was God awful wailing at awkward hours in the morning and causing nothing short of mayhem to his nannies. As a child he grew into a mischievous little prankster. Something he really hasn't grown out of. But thankfully for everyone he's matured, well, a bit since then.
His first sign of magic occurred when Rod harassed him over a teddy bear when he was seven. As a result one of his mother's favorite vases smashed itself over his brother's heads. Perhaps, one of the reasons that Rod's so mental. He wasn't sorry, though, his brother had been rude and is mother laughed saying it was mere child's play as she was able to put the vase together it seemed it was not that big of a deal.
When he was eleven he went to Hogwarts to no one's surprise and was sorted into Slytherin. Nothing too exciting happened there. He got a few detentions, got into a few fights, broke a few hearts, but nothing truly exciting happened. Not until he graduated from Hogwarts. At the ripe young age of seventeen he became a Death Eater. Unlike Rod he wasn't forced into marrying some pureblood or didn't want to? He was never sure how Rod and Bella ended up together when it's clear she never wanted anything to do with him. Perhaps, an arranged marriage? That made sense.
But since then he still hasn't married, doesn't have any heirs, and is the rich pureblood bastard that he's always been. He's helped torture, maim, and murder many innocents through his years but feels not an ounce of guilt for his actions. He knows that they deserved the pain that he inflicted. Two of his victims included the Longbottom's Frank and Alice. He helped Bella and Rod torture them into insanity and he hasn't looked back since. He works for the Ministry of Magic now and works for the Misuse of Magic office. He has plans to eventually marry and have legitimate heirs, but who knows when in Merlin's name that's going to happen? Rab's still too immature for his own good and having a bit too much fun.

RP EXPERIENCE: 11
HOW YOU FOUND US: I've been here a while. Originally on TBD.
OTHER CHARACTERS: Linda Snape
RP SAMPLE:
The Hufflepuff felt the softness of the Ravenclaw's lips upon his own rosemary lips. It made his lips tingle, it was an irritating sort of feeling but it sent waves of ecstasy through his body along with the bliss that already inhabited it. It was an amazing sort of feeling and Laurence couldn't help but think that this was one of the most beautiful afternoons he had ever shared with anyone, though, he would be the last to admit that. It would sound cheesy, too sappy, too romantic, too sentimental, and not at all manly and rough like he was supposed to be. Besides, it might just scare his company off and the last thing Laurence wanted to do was scare Emory off. For the Ravenclaw intrigued the Hufflepuff. He didn't think he'd quite met anyone like Mr. Emory Cuthbert in his life and he doubted that he'd ever meet another like him in his lifetime. Clearly, this young man was one of a kind, but Laurence didn't mind that in the least bit.
He both felt the involuntary shudder and wondered if they shouldn't go inside. It was cold, rainy, and very wet and perhaps, that was why the Raven had shivered in the first place? Maybe it had nothing to do with the weather? Surely, Emory would say something if the weather was bothering him, wouldn't he? He thought so, but before he had any time to think more on the matter he noticed Emory's smile. Such a charming smile at that, the butterflies in his stomach gave a flutter and he was worried that he would end up saying something completely ridiculous and inappropriate at the moment. He didn't trust his voice at all, so he said nothing. It would probably ruin the moment anyway and he didn't want to be the one that caused all this goodness and all this fun and let it waste away to nothing because of a few foolish words. He would hate himself forever if he had done that and thus it was better for him to keep his lips firmly shut. He didn't want to make Emory's bliss fade.
He wondered if Emory had felt his heart beating, trembling within his chest before they had loosened. It sounded in his own mind, at least, as if his heart was thundering and threatening to break from his very body. Though, that thought in itself embarrassed him. It seemed like a childish longing and he wanted to think that this was more than just a childish interaction between two boys in the water. He wanted it to mean so much more than that. It just had to mean more than that—he didn't know why it had to, but it just had to. Otherwise, this had been just a waste of time and an experience that would only destroy his ego for he felt he cared more about what Emory thought of him than any other girl and if he was just a good time for his company—then, really, it translated to him that he was useless. That he was worthless, and that he was a lousy lover. None of these things were things that Laurence even wanted to consider because at the moment he was assured that they were false. However, he knew that he shouldn't worry himself into such a frantic state, he would be bound to do something stupid if he didn't stop considering such things and so he brushed them aside—letting his worries be carried away by the blue-black waves of the haunting depths of the lake. He instead focused on trying to keep the pair of them afloat. He didn't exactly think that Emory would appreciate being thrown into the water and he himself didn't want to go down into the water so that he could splutter and make a complete and utter jackass of himself, either.
He said nothing, Emory said nothing. The silence was almost comforting in a way. He found that he didn't mind these silences and they weren't nearly as awkward as some of the silences he had shared with others. Which was surprising considering how little he knew of Emory and yet he felt drawn like an insect felt drawn to the flame of a fire. He knew that he could be hurt, but his intrigue far outweighed his caution. He couldn't help himself. Emory intrigued him unlike the usual pale boring shade of a Hogwarts student that left no impression on him except that they were inconceivably boring and definitely weren't worth his time. He wondered how many students in Hogwarts weren't worth his time. A great many, he considered, before brushing that thought, too, aside. He couldn't help but wonder how useless some thoughts could be and yet that didn't stop the flow of impeding useless thoughts from making impressions on one's mind. That in itself was vastly irritating in every way that one could perceive it.
Laurence both heard and felt the change in Emory's breath. He couldn't help but wonder how Emory felt and yet he wouldn't voice this. He felt tension in the air, a mild tension, but a tension none-the-less and he wondered the source of Emory's anxiety. Was it him or some internal force that he hadn't thought would have to be reckoned with? He didn't know and it seemed awfully impolite to ask, but he couldn't help but wonder on it, none-the-less.
However, before Laurence could voice any of his concerns for the other boy, he felt Emory lean in for another kiss. Again his heart beat within his chest as if it were going to burst out of it at any second—Merlin knew it ought to stop that before he gave himself a heart attack but he couldn't quite help himself. It felt good to be kissed by Emory and by good that's exactly what he meant. He couldn't find any more applicable words than good which may have made his vocabulary seem rather small and limited, but the Hufflepuff knew this. He hadn't felt this much bliss and anxious twined together in years. It was exhilarating and yet worrying at the same time. But he wasn't willing to give it all up no matter the anxiety it cast on his own mind, he was enjoying himself far too much to let this moment fade away into oblivion forever. This moment was perfect—if anything in life could truly be perfect then they had reached perfection and everyone else was doomed to imperfection. Not that he minded that one bit, he deserved a bit of happiness, he thought, with a life as shoddy as his.
Emory's eyes had opened and Laurence found himself staring into their infinite depths. They seemed to be never ending pools of chocolate. It was clear that Emory wasn't an easy person to read and he honestly didn't mind that. Easily read people rather bored him, if truth was to be told, and he liked people that involved a little more thought and weren't so easy to be brushed off. Even if that involved unfavorable situations in the future, all he knew was that it felt good to be there at this moment. He wondered, if this was indeed what love was supposed to feel like? He didn't know—Laurence had never known love in it's purest and truest state and thus he didn't know what it was supposed to feel like. But if he had to make an assumption based on his limited interactions and interludes with lovers or potential lovers he would imply that this feeling now in the pit of his stomach beating it's wings furiously as if threatening to break free of him—he would say that this was love. Maybe because he earnestly hoped that it was.
"I'm fine, are you all right?" Laurence asked in his deep, soothing voice. There was none of his usual mocking, jesting, or sneering in his tone. He didn't think he could ever mock or sneer at Emory even if he wanted to, at least not now. He didn't see any logical thought that would lend itself to that sort of action. He wondered now, more than ever, what was going on through the boy's mind. But that's all he was wondering about. It was so odd that one person had the capacity and ability to capture his attention and direct it away from the rest of the world when no one had managed to do quite this to Laurence before—and though, the motion in itself was foreign he found himself enjoying it and very much so. It felt good to be loved, if this was indeed what love felt like.
Laurence felt excited shivers and the hairs on the back of his neck stand up when Emory placed yet another kiss on his lips. It was a small, brief little kiss and still he felt the excited tremors travel through his body. He wondered if there weren't something wrong with him for feeling this way, but he honestly couldn't care less if this were wrong to feel so strongly for someone that was almost a complete stranger. They hadn't exchanged many words, but Laurence felt a strong hearkening for Emory and he only hoped that the emotion was shared or else it could prove to be a most demeaning and disappointing thing, indeed. But considering how Emory kept kissing him, he thought that there must be some sort of affection for him in the other boy's eyes. At least he strongly yearned for it, if this were merely lust he would be okay with that as long as he never knew for the way he felt now was the best he had felt in months, perhaps, even years.
He had noted the brief, small smile that had etched itself upon his company's lips and couldn't help but smile in return. He felt his cheeks redden at Emory's proclamation that he was beautiful. "You're beautiful, too, you know," Laurence admitted, a bit shyly, and embarrassed he found his lashes fluttering like a girl's. How embarrassing, perhaps, Emory would find it endearing? He hoped so because otherwise he would feel obsolete and inconsequentially silly for the next day or so.
