The Black Lake stills stretches out like a lazy cat besides Hogwarts. The creatures that once filled it are now never seen, and some question if they are even there anymore.

The surroundings of Hogwarts Castle are always gloomy, now a days, even if illuminated by a bright sun. Students seem defeated, and worried even, as they scurry about. There are a few classes taught in the surrounding areas of Hogwarts- such as Herbology, and Care of Magical Creatures. Some other classes may be taught out here, if they need the extra space.
