• AS WE DANCE WITH THE DEVIL TONIGHT

[/color][/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote]the full moon pretty much was rising from its resting position it seemed on the horizon. many things were still as the night started while things shifted. birds fell silent for the night, animals cuddled into their protective holes to sleep in. while the animals settled, many witches and wizards too, began to close up for the night. well - not in knockturn alley. since the sun had just set, many shops were still open, though they weren't expecting very many customers. unless it was from a coven or two. otherwise, they lazed behind their seamless counters, usually with a book. life seemed quieter more - sureal when nighttime came over knockturn alley. these shops though, they didn't seem to be affected too much by the sun's departing and the moon's replacement of it.
while everything shifted into a different gear, a small clacking of heels could be heard, before they fell silent. a trait she'd adapted over the years with many hours of practice. ah, twilight, the time between day and night, where things were moving, and it was nice for her to venture out, without needing tons of sun screen, or just avoiding the sun all together if she could manage it. the sun was a blasted thing, a reason why she adored england, during the summers it was cloudy a lot, therefore allowing her out to "play." though usually that consisted of her eating at st. mungo's from a donation, or just finishing off someone that someone in her coven may have caught. either way, she made sure she got by, and didn't bother too much with drinking blood to become more "human-like." she didn't like being human - well - not compared to how she was now. now, there were so many freedoms, granted, she didn't have as much power as she once had before she'd been turned, but evander had taught her special spells.
evander. the thought of her older blood brother made a smile appear along her pink lips. him and kistin, her blood brothers - meaning they had been transformed too, by the same person as she. a man named romano, course, he had raped her before he turned her, finally though, he got what he deserved - his death. a soft growl built up in her chest, though she kept it under wraps for now. immediately calming herself, the young woman brushed aside some of her darker golden locks, due to not having seen the sun in years. occasionally, she'll slather the sunscreen on her scalp, and lie down, so her body and head was covered in shade, though her hair got the sunshine, letting it get blonder. she usually lied there for hours on end every few days, which was always nice.
lean body moved gracefully to the edge of the three-story building. no one below. excellent. eyes scanned the street once more, before immediately, she clutched the edge of the building at her feet, and muscles released from their crouched position. stomach dropped as she felt the adrenaline - or so it felt like - burst into her body, giving her the thrill of jumping, something she couldn't have done if she'd still been human. landing smoothly on the ground, she inhaled slowly, curiously making sure no one had seen. straightening herself, she adjusted her black jacket (see above), black leggings and boots, an outfit she enjoyed wearing every once in awhile - this time being one of those. as the sun's rays disappeared, her playtime could begin.
