[/i]tarting off the day - or rather - night was always tough. Especially when you woke up to hear Kistin being loud in the next room. Waking up to him was never fun, and she hated when that happened, which was what had happened now. Stirring, she groaned in the protective coffin, wishing Evander was around to shut him up. Granted, Kistin listened to her, their "baby sister," but only once in a blue moon. Pale lips pursed as the young woman sauntered around, as if dancing the whole time, getting dressed in some fine clothing. Even if she was technically a "halfbreed" so politely labeled, the coven she belonged to was powerful. She enjoyed the thought that no one could overtake their coven, therefore she felt - reassured. Reassured nothing was going to happen to the only family she had left. The only family she really thought of as actual brothers were Kistin and Evander, but that's because they were blood siblings, bitten by the same vampire.S
Upon finishing getting ready, the pale blonde used magic with Floo powder to get herself to Diagon Alley quicker. Granted, she had an ebony wand, but Flood powder was just so much easier on her. This place - was like Knockturn Alley now, homeless littered - though that was a terrible word - paved the sides of the street, mostly silent. Poor were out there as well, while purebloods sauntered on by. Purebloods were so - ignorant, it was quite amusing to watch them. Back when she had been a human, purebloods and everyone got along much better than they did now. Now, it was segregation against different races it seemed, and who had the bigger wallet. Those things shouldn't matter, she thought to herself, amused. The things that matter should be who were your friends, how you treated others, not how you thought they should treat you.
As her boots fell silent on the cobblestone street, having exited from a furniture store's fireplace, she paused slightly, letting people go by. She wore a lighter-colored shirt, it helped draw away from her paleness, but otherwise, upon first glance, most people could tell exactly what she was. What she had been for decades upon decades, something she never wanted to be. Dull, though glassy eyes revealed how much time they had spent on the earth, taking in different scenes. Different muggle wars she'd heard about - for some strange reason, and the war between the Dark Lord and Harry Potter. She didn't find amusement too much in what happened in the Wizarding Community, if it didn't affect herself or her coven, she didn't mind much.
F[/color]eatures wrinkled slightly in disgust at the smell of burnt hide. Cringing away from a certain store, she pressed on past that. Things like that - she didn't linger on too much in life. There were more important things, like...reading. She read so much, maybe she could stop by a book store and see what they had. Nodding slightly at this thought, the blonde continued down Diagon Alley, and as a man stared to her as she walked past, she made a point to turn her head, and smile widely. He immediately flinched and turned on his heels, walking away rather rapidly. He'd seen something from her he hoped he wouldn't again. Good thing, she mused to herself. She brushed her fingertips along the sharps teeth that showed her blood, a vampire.
Cruising along, she paused in front of a book store. Keen eyes searched the rows of books she could see from the window. Upon landing on a few, she quickly entered, tight-fitting jeans adjusted as she wiggled slightly. Clothing was always - interesting in her opinion. She enjoyed dresses, having been told she was a woman in dresses, but now - jeans and pants were so much nicer. They enabled her to move faster, easier. Hands gently brushed the books, before hearing something outside. Someone stumbled onto someone else. Immediately, with surprising speed, the blonde reappeared outside, as the two men walked away from each other. She sighed, then shook her head. Turning around, she tensed as she heard someone approach.[/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote]
