EYE COLOUR: Brown
HEIGHT: 5'6"
WEIGHT: 128 lbs
BODY TYPE: Average of a woman her age, but a bit on the slender side.
VOICE: Higher pitched, sharp with a British (Sussex) accent. Becomes more shrill when panicked or irritated. Has a bad habit of talking too fast when nervous. Normally, is articulate, smooth, and confident.
PERSONAL STYLE: Anything to have her blend in. Most of the time, with this chilly England weather, she'll have on sweaters/cardigans with jeans.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION: A bit has changed since Hermione left Hogwarts, the most noticeable being her appearance. Her had found the right combination of muggle and wizarding hair products to finally smooth out that brown bush of hers, although on quite a few occasions she neglects her hair and lets it twist in turn any way it pleases. Her complexion is fair, as it always had been. Her eyes are a round almond-shape, as if they were wide enough to take in all the information on the page of a book. She rarely wears much make-up; as she reminds herself daily, 'being plain saves'. Her teeth remain normal; that was perhaps the one thing she could thank Draco Malfoy for was fixing her teeth, in a roundabout way. Her build is a tad on the thinner side, with the typical womanly curves and shape. She is not so much concerned about her appearance as she is her strength, and occasionally she works out by running and lifting hand-weights, just in case a time would come where she would need to defend herself. Never outside or alone, of course...

BIOGRAPHY: Now, we all know what happened during Hermione's years at Hogwarts. Let's skip forward to the time right as the purebloods took power...
Right after that great battle between good and evil, when evil had indeed won, Hermione realized before the others how dangerous the situation was for her kind. She also understood that any companion or follower of Harry, now deceased, would most likely be killed or sent to Azkaban if the Death Eaters found them. She then had to make a decision which would change the course of her history afterwards; she fled Hogwarts and off into the countryside (specifically the town of The Pludds near the Forest of Dean). Although she knew that the Death Eaters could track her, she figured that if she could get far enough away from the initial scene, they would not bother to follow her until after they had taken all those remaining prisoner. She had told her companions of her plan, and many of them too attempted to escape. Hermione feels extreme guilt to this day, since she feels as if she should have fought to the death for the right of equality as others had.
Hermione managed to shake the feeling at the time and blended in to Muggle society; the one she grew up in as a young child. She did not notify her parents that she had returned back since she sent them to Australia, but instead started a new life in Surrey to the south. She moved in to her family's old home and had a steady job as a tutor for the local schools. Four years of living this simple Muggle life later, she happened to meet up with Ronald Weasley while in London. She did not ask him how he escaped or why he was spared, but the two hit it off and within a few months were engaged. They thought it would be what Harry wanted them to do; move on with their lives and not mourn.
This sudden pull back into wizarding society, however, was very much like culture shock. She was not considered a citizen in the eyes of the wizarding state, and the constant remarks, taunts, and curses made at her wore her patience down to its very last. After another year or so of the verbal torment she received, she decided to break the engagement with Ronald. She knew that he had done nothing wrong; he had never said an ill word about her. The society in which he and his family lived now was not one that suited her kind, she explained, and she set off for London. The Death Eaters would have known her location and closeness with the Weasleys at the point, and Hermione had to change her location and occupation to stay under the radar.
She currently lives in a small, somewhat dingy apartment in London and works at a Muggle bookstore to pay the bills. After much mental preparation, at the age of 27 Hermione plans to re-enter the wizarding world, find some of the old order members, and finish the work that Harry, Ron, and her had started years ago...

RP EXPERIENCE: been doing this for at least eight years...
HOW YOU FOUND US: by chance; it's a long story
OTHER CHARACTERS: none
RP SAMPLE:
"...Lulu? Lulu baby, where are you?"
"We haven't had her for a hour and she's already lost? Mom, wasn't she in the living room?"
"She couldn't have gone out of the room; we baby-gated it to make sure of that...just keep looking."
Such was the conversation between Jane and Julia Kelly on the subject of their newly-purchased pup. They knew tat when they took the pup from the Fujiwara home, they were warned that she was an expert escape artist and that all precautions and preparations had to be in place. Before they picked the pup up, the Kelly's installed baby-gates and locks on each opening in the house, in hopes that they could contain Lulu and keep her out of harm.
After playing cute in the living room for about ten minutes after she arrived at the new home, Lulu quietly snuck underneath the television stand. Her small tail wagged; oh how she delighted that the game could continue. When she was removed from the comfort of her old home, she wondered, in excitement, whether these new humans would be willing to play her game. Right now, she knew, they were unwilling. But soon they would wisen up to the concept and be active participants; maybe someday she would want to look for them for a change...nah! Finding and coming up with new hiding places was simply too much fun.
Lulu was no fool, though. She knew that these humans would soon find her, and either she would have to find a new hiding place quickly, or risk losing. The Sheltie never lost, and whenever the Fujiwaras' found her, it was on her own terms. In other words, they ddin't find her; she wanted them to see her. As Jane and Kelly's search neared closer and closer to the televison, Lulu made a bold dash to the nearest wall...
"...there she is!" Julia cried to her mother, and the two women reached out to grab the small pup...but to no avail. The swift little Sheltie had wedged herself between the couch and the wall before the two could even see what direct she had traveled.
Yet another perfect spot, she said confidently to herself as she huffed the air around her. The different scents intrigued her; these alien smells of new people and food sparked her brain and imagination full of ideas. However, something stopped her dreamy thoughts. The scent of another dog gave to her nose, and she carefully thought it over. This dog was much older than her and smelled nothing like her parents or siblings, or even the other dogs in the house. This did not worry the Sheltie though; this was just the start of yet another adventure. That is, once this one was over...
