~Personality~
Alex tends to be rather shy at first, and compulsively paranoid when in a new place. But, she will open up once she gets to know a person, and she will become more relaxed once she gets to know a place. When in a crowd of unfamiliar people, she would often rather be a wall-flower and just observe. If she knows even one person, however, she will latch onto that person. Though she won’t say much, if anything, she’ll be said person’s silent shadow. She has few friends, as she tends to be quite forthright with her words.
She is often very brutally honest; brusquely blunt, even. Should the time call for it, however, she can be serious as the rest of them, often wearing a mask lately; she has inner demons, which would interfere with her work if she didn't keep them at bay. She also takes it upon herself to protect her friends, often though they don't need it, and sometimes at the risk of her own life. Alex can also be quite snappish when irritated. She has a sunny - if slightly subdued, due to her position as Headmistress - personality most of the time, but on her bad days, that same sun can be scorching. When confronted about something she has a sore spot for, she will either retreat back into herself and merely stare unnervingly until she is left alone, or she will lash out and make sure her cutting words take suspicion off of the original topic.
Also, though her friends have tried their hardest, she tends to be quite anti-social – often, she likes it that way. She would do anything to make her father proud, but not for any other reason than that she wants him to love her. (She knows he's nothing more than a portrait in both her office and that of the Headmaster, but can't help the fact that the yearning is till there and still very strong.) Ever since she started her magical schooling, Alex has hated change, which made her very resistant to many things in her life (of course, save for the fact that she became a Death Eater as soon as Voldemort had returned at the end of her sixth year). However, oddly enough, she surprised even herself when she accepted her lesbianism without a second thought. Being unashamed of her past actions, Alex aligns herself proudly with the Dark, despite the fact that she knows very well that her father was a double agent. All in all, she’s been described as a tomboy by many, and is quite happy with this definition of her personality.

Protective at the worst of times, Alex is an open person with those she trusts. But, as she doesn’t trust easily, and trusts few people farther than she can throw them, she has very few friends. However, despite having few friends, she likes to think that the ones she has will stick by her. While Alex is quite loyal to her friends, it only extends to them; she’ll never so much as glance at you if she feels she can’t trust you enough to call you a friend.

Being the kind of person she is – not easily trusting, cold to those she doesn’t trust, snappish and almost cruel on her bad days – and being whose daughter she is (though this isn't known to anyone currently living save herself and perhaps the Dark Lord), Alex knows she’s bound to have a few enemies. Though she doubts there would be any real hate between them, she does know that there will be people whom she shares a mutual amount of dislike with. She also knows that this could easily be amplified by the fact that her loyalties and sympathies are with the Dark.

Though Alex’s a bit too focused on her ambitions to be thinking about any serious commitment, she isn’t immune to crushes, fancies, and lusts; however, due to her lesbianism, any of the above would more than likely be unrequited - ironically, much like her father's love for a certain other redhead woman remains to this day, even if his portrait won't admit it.
