Ronald Weasley was always used to handy-me-downs. He would just wear whatever was given to him. A lot of the times it consisted of something his mother would knit for him as well. With a R written on it. When he was younger he hated this. Now that he is older he sometimes admires his mother’s clothes. They mean more to him now. Now that he is older though he has all new dress robes and buys clothes that aren’t really handy-me-downs now- But his style hasn’t changed much from when he was a child.

He still has that bright red hair. He is a boy that is easily spotted in the crowd. As he has gotten older the little bit of freckles he had are not as apparent. His eyes are blue. And his skin is the type of skin that easily burns. And unfortunately for him it is still obvious when he is blushing. The boy can’t catch a break with his fair skin.

How to describe Ron Weasley? He is a very complex man. He would do anything for someone he loves. He has proved this by helping Harry with his journey to get rid of Voldomort. Yes, the boy left, but he soon regretted it. He has this temper that makes him speak without thinking once in awhile. Mostly when it comes to his jealousy. He isn’t any good with showing his emotions or talking about how he is feeling. Instead he just avoids it and tends to make situations worse. If he’d only just talk he could have avoided so many fights he had with Hermione. But that’s stubborn coming into play.

He tends to be afraid of rejection. He does guard himself from being hurt. And in the process of guarding himself sometimes he hurts others. But he’d never do it on purpose. It’s just Ronald being Ron. He really does have a good heart. He has a huge fear of spiders and he has faced this fear so often just to help Harry out. He has his moments where he is very much afraid but he overcomes these fears. Which makes Ron a very brave man. He will go the distance to make sure his family and friends are safe. Even if this means putting himself in danger.

To sum Ron up he has his flaws. He has flaws just like any other person in this world. But with his flaws which includes his jealous nature and him being stubborn, he has his qualities that out do those flaws. These being his loving side. The side that will do anything for his family and friends. The side that makes him an amazing friend and an amazing son and brother. The side that will overcome any and all fears just to make sure everyone he loves is safe. And it doesn’t hurt that Ron is a funny guy without even trying. He’s a great guy to have around for a laugh or two.

Never a dull moment in Ronald Weasley’s life. Having six other children in the family can have its ups and downs. Ron is the youngest boy of seven children. The second youngest in the family followed by his little sister Ginny. The poor boy always felt as if he was hidden in the shadows. And then the moments where he didn’t feel this way it was always when he wanted to be hidden. Having five older brothers just meant that the poor bloke was always picked on. Even with feeling like just another Weasley he was important to the family. And soon when he became eleven he was going to be an important person to Harry Potter the boy who lived. And soon to a girl he would act as if it didn’t matter if she cared or not Ms. Hermione Granger.

Then at the age of eleven Ron was so excited. This would be because he got his letter accepting him to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He just had to get into Gryffindor. Everyone in his family was part of Gryffindor. Ron just couldn’t be any different and in his head Gryffindor was the best house out there. Coming on the train his nerves boiled over. What if he didn’t get into Gryffindor? What if everyone judged him to be just another Weasley. What if he made no friends!? But these nerves were washed away when he met Harry Potter. The famous boy who lived. Of course, he didn’t know the boy was Harry Potter right off the bat till someone pointed it out. That was when he met that pesky girl Hermione Granger. A girl he pretended he couldn’t stand. But deep down, way deep down, in the eleven year olds heart he could stand her. He just hated to admit it to himself and to anyone.

Arriving at Hogwarts and into the Great Hall, the now soon to be trio, bumped into their enemy for their school years, Draco Malfoy. Ron was so pleased to have Harry at his side because Harry ended up sticking up for their newly found friendship. And soon after Ron and Harry Potter were accepted into Gryffindor. Pleased

+ with himself he couldn’t await the new school year. He liked to act as if Hermione Granger being accepted into Gryffindor was a huge mistake but that girl soon began to follow around Harry and Ron. Harry being able to handle it well. However, Ronald always looked at her as a know-it-all that he couldn’t stand.

This was the start of the trios journey to defeating lord voldomort. Harry, Ron, and Hermione for the longest time had assumed that Professor Snape was trying to bring back Voldomort with the Sorcerer Stone. So they set off on a mission to receive this stone. And even if Ron didn’t want to admit it in their journey to figuring out where the stone was hidden they would have been lost without Hermione. And on one particular night an event with a troll brought the trio closer together. Because fighting a troll in the bathroom and earning points for your house just can’t, not bring people closer together. Then toward the ending of the year the trio got leads to where the stone was. They made their way through many obstacles and Ron followed being as brave as possible until they reached the Chess game. This was where he showed his true skills in bravery and wizard chess. He became king and he got Harry and Hermione through to the next round of obstacles. But he had to end the help early for Harry to go by himself. Seeing as he was injured in the Chess Game. But this proved to be why he made it into Gryffindor. He was right for the house.

- In his second year at Hogwarts he wasn’t nervous this time. He knew he had two friends to go back to and a wonderful house as well. This was the year that Harry and Ron missed the train. The poor boys ran smack dab into the wall. So what other choice did they have? They didn’t feel they had another choice other then to take their fathers magical car. When the boys reached Hogwarts they were greeted by the Whomping Willow. As the car drove off they made their way into the Castle. Greeted by a Professor and scolded. They were lucky they weren’t expelled. Their was muggles that had to have their brains washed because of Ron and Harry’s foolishness.

This was the year that the chamber of secrets was opened. So through most of this year Ron, Harry, and Hermione surfed through books to figure out what the chamber of secrets was. Then on one evening the trio heard that a student was taken down to the Chamber. Ron perked his ears out to listen and his heart sunk when he heard the students name. Ginny Weasley. It couldn’t be his sister. Not his baby sister. They had to get to the chamber of Secrets now. They had to save his sister. So with the ‘help’ of lockheart, Harry and himself went down to the Chambers. Seeing as Hermione had been one of the students that was petrified this particular year. Ron was left behind as Harry went to save his sister and ‘defeat’ voldomort once again. This was because of a small rock smashing. But again, Ron helped Harry get to his destination in this year. And proved yet again, why he belonged in Gryffindor.

Then in his third year he was allowed into Hogsmead. He had been looking forward to this for years. Honeydukes was a place he often heard about when he was a child. And his older brothers often teased him with candy. So to be allowed into Honeydukes was a dream. Unfortunately, he was rather sad his best friend couldn’t join him. But him and Hermione’s friendship grew a little closer that year because they spent some alone time together.

This was also the year that Sirius Black returned. Ron was really worried about Harry this year. He knew that Black was out for his best friend and he hated that. And he also hated to see his best friend in so much pain over who Black turned out to be. And this was also the year that he lost his pet rat. Or well, Peter Petigrew. He was so torn apart that his rat turned out to be a ‘phony’ rat. He hated to see him leave. But at the same time, he supposed it was good that Black was not a criminal. Seeing as Black turned out to be Harry’s godfather and all. The best part was when Ron got his very own owl. Black sent Ron an owl whose name became pig.

In his fourth year the tournament of the goblet of fire was what everyone was excited for. Including Ron. He wasn’t so pleased that he couldn’t enter but he was excited to watch. And, then, the unthinkable happened Harry Potter was chosen to compete. And jealousy, it raged inside his head. The boy already had enough attention! Why, just for once, couldn’t Ron be the ‘cool guy!?’ why couldn’t he be competing? And why were these things always happening to Harry. He had assumed Harry did this on purpose. Yet, when Ron found out about dragons he attempted to tell Harry but it never appeared that way. But when he finally saw Harry competing he realized that Harry would have to be stupid to put his name in the cup. So they became fast friends again. This was also the year that he met his brother’s future wife. He had a small crush on her. Merely only because she was so pretty. She was veela blood after all.

This was also the year that Ron realized that Hermione Granger was not just his friend. She was a girl. An attractive girl at that. He had asked her to the ball in the most silly way possible. He assumed she wouldn’t have been able to get a date. But boy was he wrong. Because Krum, his so called hero, had asked her. Which made Ron storm with jealousy and end up disliking Krum a lot. The night of the Yule ball his eyes were amazed to see Hermione. She was stunning. He was in shock. And that night was a total bust for him. He hated seeing Hermione with Krum. Why he did? He’d never admit to. Not for another few years. He just passed it off as being mad that she was helping an enemy out. By the end of the tournament Diggory died as a shock to Ron. And the bigger shock was that Voldomort was back.

In his fifth year. This was when he first fully hears of the Order. This was also the year that nobody believed Harry with the return of Voldomort. But, Ron was a person, that stuck by Harry through it all. To the point that him and Hermione started up a club called the Dumbledore’s Army. This was a class that Harry taught in private. Seeing as they were not actually allowed to use magic because of Umbridge and the Minsity of Magic. But soon after entering into the Minsitry of Magic, and watching Sirius Black die, the whole world found out that Harry was not lying. That Lord Voldomort was back. This was also the year that Ron was on the Qudditch Team. And became ‘ Weasley is our king’

Sixth year was full of emotions for Ron. Not only with helping Harry to figure out who the half-blood prince was, but his love life was a mess. He found out that Hermione Granger had kissed Krum from his little sister. His jealousy got the best of him. And he went out and found the first girl that took a liking to him. That being Lavender Brown. This caused a huge drift between him and Hermione. It even caused them not to talk for the longest time. Leaving Harry to go between them. But Ron was stubborn. He refused to admit his feelings for Hermione and he refused to be the only in the trio that had never snogged anyone before. Besides at the time, before Lavender got annoying, it was nice having her around for a snogging session.

But soon he got annoyed with her. He had really wanted to get rid of her. Then one day he finally did. Poor Ron got poisoned. And in the hospital bed he called out Hermione’s name. Which caused Lavender to bolt. He still wonders to this day what happened but he still doesn’t fully know. But he is mighty glad that she is gone.

In his supposed to be seventh year the worst things happened. He never went back to school. He went with Harry and Hermione to try and defeat Voldomort. Unfortunately, tragic hit and his best friend was killed. In which he still mourns his friends death. And, with the death of Harry Potter brought a change to friends and family. And, the wizarding world. A horrible change.

After the death Hermione and him tried to become a couple. He even proposed to her. But she couldn't handle all the abuse this new world gave her. So she ran off. He hasn't seen her in a long time. And now, Ron just has become one with the new world. He is a pureblood and granted he gets called names once in awhile, he is able to deal with it and live his life as normal as he can. He wakes up in the morning, goes to work, comes home and sleeps. He avoids the world as much as possible. For he hates this new world. And deep down he wants to start a rebellion. He just doesn't know where to begin.

How could this have happened? Their plan was supposed to be flawless. Now it was destroyed. Their plan wasn’t what was supposed to be destroyed. It was supposed to be the horcruxs. And now the trio, that was supposed to make this ongoing war end was trapped. Trapped inside Hogwarts. A place they all once loved, a place that made them feel safe and secure. That place was gone now. That place was not a place any of them wanted to be right now. They should be out on their journey finding the horcruxs and destroying them. But now they were trapped. Ron felt as if earlier in their journey they were getting no place. Like every turn they made was leading them to more questions that needed to be answered. He had started to hate the journey. And earlier in the journey he almost wished to be back at Hogwarts. But not this Hogwarts.

Now that he was here in Hogwarts he wanted to be out. He didn’t care that there was food. He didn’t care that he had a bed at night. He only cared about getting the horcruxs. And now he didn’t know how they were going to defeat Voldomort. So many thoughts swirled in the young man’s head. What if being trapped here met that Voldomort was going to take over the world? What if that meant that Harry was going to end up dead? And, Hermione for that matter. He knew that not only Harry was in danger of being killed, Hermione was as well. Hermione was a ‘mud blood’ and that was not acceptable in Voldomort’s books. And, Ron? Well, if something happened to Harry and Hermione he wouldn’t care what happened to himself. He’d want to die. But truthfully, they needed to do whatever they could in the castle to make sure Harry defeat Voldomort. But Ron, was beginning to think it was impossible.

Walking along the castle lost in thoughts and memories his feet led him to the Astronomy Tower. He figured it would be a decent place to lose his thoughts in. He thought he’d be alone but when he reached the top his eyes were met with the back of Hermione Granger’s head. He frowned a small bit. Something was bothering her. And he was worried about her. He stood awkwardly staring at her for the longest time. He wasn’t sure what to do. A part of him wanted to go up to her and hug her. Tell her everything was going to be ok. But he couldn’t do that. For one he didn’t have the guts and two he didn’t know if everything was going to be ok. He knew she was taking this being captured thing hard. They all were. But he really missed the old Hermione.

He took a step up to the bench and lightly placed his hand on her shoulder. “ Hermione?” he spoke softly, not wanting to startle the poor girl. “ Are you ok?” he asked her. He knew it was a stupid question as soon as he asked it, but it was already asked.

As for Fred - I don't mind having him alive or dead. The Battle of Hogwarts mainly went ahead as the books say it did - hence why Tonks and Lupin are both listed as DEAD on our canons list. However, since the finale of that battle changed as much as it did, there is some leniency on those who did live or die. The only person we really rule out being alive is, of course, Harry Potter himself.

Since you are now the only Weasley, I'm quite happy to say if it fits better in Ron's life to have him dead, PM me. I can very easily put him on the canons list and sort that out. If not, PM me too and let me know.
