I can never face my father and sister again because I'm a blood traitor because I support muggleborns and the rights of halfbreeds. It's evil how they think we're not entitled to our own rights. England has become a really scary place, I could no longer stay in the flat with my aunt.
I know I'm of age and don't really need a guardian living with me but I was scared to live by myself with all the horror going on in the world. She's the only auror/Order Member left in the family and everyone is in terrible danger out there. It's so sickening and horrible. It makes me want to cry."

PERSONALITY
[/font][/b][/color][/font][/center]Meleny is a very sweet and helpful person. She doesn't have a mean bone in her body and is always willing to help people if they ask her for it. She's quite pleasant to be around once you get to know her. Meleny is an even tempered person but even she has bad moods sometimes. She rarely raises her voice at people and would rather calmly and logically solve a problem than rushing into a duel.Otherwise she is very calm and her usual friendly self. She can also be a bit overprotective. Another thing about Meleny is that she is fiercely loyal. Once she picks a side in something she stays loyal to that side forever. Betrayal and back stabbing is one thing she cannot stand.
Meleny is emotional and sometimes isn't afraid to show she's scared, or in pain but when met with an enemy she'll try to decieve them and cover up her weaknesses which includes trying to hide the scar underneath her right eye which is the only one visible.Usually she's in control of her emotions and knows when and when not to show them but when she's scared or under stress the chain binding her emotions snaps and she becomes a total wreck.
Some of these traits might label her as a HufflePuff but she is really Gryffindor. She may not be brave but she's overprotective and a bit of a martyr. She values everyone else's lives over her own. When lives are at stake she doesn't care about getting in trouble but when it isn't absolutely necessary she avoids getting in trouble as much as possible.
As of late she's become less bubbly and is extremely paranoid after her incident. She is now afraid to be alone. She's become irritable with people who start trouble with her since she's been experiencing lack of sleep both from constant nightmares. She can't go to sleep unless someone is there with her which makes her fortunate for the dormitories. At home she can't sleep by herself. Meleny used to be too quick to trust people because nothing bad had happened to her yet to enable her to see some people's true colors. Now she's careful of who she trusts and sticks close to people who she's 100% sure won't cause her any harm.
Since Voldemort's reign extended beyond her schooling at Hogwarts, Meleny is still frightened for her remaining friends and is still stressed out and is even scared for herself, too scared to live in her own flat by herself.

[/font][/b][/color][/font][/center]Meleny always wears a pendant her mother gave her when she turned 11 and first started Hogwarts. To her the pendant is a security item that she holds onto very tightly. She never took it off since her mother's death in her sixth year at Hogwarts. Various parts of her body are covered in scars since the majority of her family is evil. She does her best to cover them up because she's very self-conscious about them.
Meleny has long brown hair and blue eyes. She's 5'2 and weighs about 170 lbs.She always leaves her hair down unless she's attending a formal event. Since she graduated, Meleny has been wearing muggle clothes more often.

[/font][/b][/color]Meleny attended Hogwarts School of witchcraft and wizardy from 1991 to 1997. Her wand is rosewood, 12 inches, Unicorn tail hair.
She learned to conjure a patronus with Dumbledore's Army in fifth year when Umbridge wouldn't teach defensive magic. Her patronus takes the shape of a dove.

[/font][/b][/color]Meleny had been sitting in the bleachers on the Gryffindor side watching her team. She was biting her nails nervously when she saw that Slytherin was practically annihilating Gryffindor. She saw an identical face cheering for the opposing team on the Slytherin end, her twin sister Jezebel. She then heard a horrible piercing scream of pain and noticed that one of the Slytherin beaters had taken out one of Gryffindor's chasers, Eliza Cunningham. She heard her say it was the reserve player's turn to step into the game and watched as she was led back into the castle by another student to the hospital wing.
Meleny ran down the bleachers and back towards the changing tents to change into her Quidditch gear. As she had left she noticed one of Slytherins chasers had ordered the beater to go after Gryffindor's famed seeker, Harry Potter. Meleny had played chaser for Gryffindor in her second and third years at Hogwarts but quit when Jezebel injured her during practice. She hoped she wasn't too rusty when she finally returned to the stadium and she prayed Gryffindor could hold their own against Slytherin for a while longer. Meleny had noticed that only one of Gryffindor's beaters were present and that wasn't good enough for her. She would hate it if Harry got taken out by the orders of a vengeful Slytherin Chaser or anyone from Slytherin for that matter. She had remembered seeing Giovanna Nero in a class or two and that girl was just as spiteful and mean as her own sister. Giovanna frightened Meleny as much as Jezebel and her father did.
Meleny knew that the game wasn't over until one seeker captured the snitch and even though Slytherin was ahead another bloody ten points she hoped Harry would come through in the end. She couldn't think of a time when he hadn't managed to bring their team to victory. She knew Slytherin liked to play dirty if her third year practicing with her sister was any indication. Jezebel had been playing beater at the time. Meleny found herself wishing she too was a beater for Gryffindor and she might have been able to rescue Harry from the Slytherin girl's beater's bat. She wouldn't have been late either. She felt bad that poor Seamus was left by himself to deflect bludgers. They had been down one chaser earlier but one beater wasn't enough to protect her and Gryffindor's other chaser. Meleny was upset that the other beater was missing during such a crucial game.
As soon as Meleny made it to the changing tents she removed her wand from the pocket of her robes and pointed it at an area in the tent."Accio Broomstick and Quidditch gear."she stated firmly and put her wand away. While she waited for her broom and gear to arrive, Meleny pulled her hair back into a neat ponytail while she waited for the items. She hoped it wasn't too messy since she did it rather haphazardly reflecting how much of a hurry she was in to return to the stadium. Finally the called for items arrived and Meleny quickly changed into her old Quidditch gear and grabbed her broomstick out of the air then put her wand in a safe place. She didn't know what else to do with it and it would take too long to put it away safely in her dormitory.
As soon as she was done getting ready she walked over towards the entrance to the stadium where the brooms came out from. She sighed deeply as she mounted it and flew out onto the pitch. She noticed Harry was hovering above where the chasers were and she glanced over at Giovanna. She hoped the other beater would get here soon or else they were doomed as if Gryffindor weren't in enough trouble already. Meleny tried to ignore the sound of the Slytherin jeers and the identical face of her sister Jezebel who's jeers for Gryffindor grew louder when Meleny arrived on the pitch.[/font][/center]
