It had been a while since Rebecca had some time to herself. It was late at night and she couldn’t help but go out. She had never been one to sleep during the night and so this would be the perfect chance to take some quality time. A smirk formed upon her pink lips. This would be fun, definitely. She stepped out in her cloak and walked around, going to an empty classroom. In mid step, she hesitated, something she didn’t do often. Becca was never one ot change midcourse, but this one was different. She probably would have a better view in the astronomy tower. It wasn’t like anyone was going to use it now, right? She nodded, satisfied at the thought before quietly heading that way.
When she got to the top, she let her eyes feast upon the glorious sight of the stars. It was a beautiful night. Becca felt her body relax. She didn’t realize that she was that tense all the time. Of course when the Dark Lord won, the whole community changed. If she were living when Potter was, she probably would’ve been someone completely different. No one would’ve expected the Becca to be soft and so she had to live up to their expectations. So far she had been able to fool many people, but these were times when she didn’t have to act tough and undefeatable. Maybe her soft heart was what got her chosen for Ravenclaw rather than Slytherin. She remembered her father being furious when he got that news.
She sat down and looked up at the stars. It wasn’t very usual that the stars would be shining this brightly. Usually it was cloudy and stormy. A sight she got used to when she was younger. She sighed quietly before hearing something. It could’ve been a knock on the wall or someone tripping. Either way, it was something that warned her she shouldn’t be here at this time. In a split second, Becca stood up, her wand out. “Who’s there,” she demanaded, the softness in her eyes disappeared, only being left with the harsh image she usually carried. She wouldn’t let anyone get up on her and that was a fact.

One eye popped open. Then the second. Avery didn't really know why he was getting up so early but he knew that he wanted to and was determined to. It was late at night and he had gone to bed around an hour earlier. What was he doing? He pushed himself out of bed. He was wearing his boxer shirts and a black t-shirt. He approached a glistening mirror and checked himself out. Everyone was still asleep. He smirked. He was looking pretty handsome that night. He ran a finger through his blond hair. His smirk wore off as he glanced around the room. One of them were snoring. It was getting slightly irritating how they all slept like such pigs and bastards.
He left the room and pulled himself out of the common room and before he could actually blink he found himself walking up the stairs. He arched an eyebrow. Where was he going? He rubbed the back of his neck as he continued walking up the stairs that, surprisingly was leading him towards the Astronomy and Divination towers. He felt slightly confused. He felt as if his body was leading him somewhere. He felt as if he did not trust his own body which was slightly confusing but he just continued.
As he finally reached the towers he glanced at shadowy figure up ahead. All he knew was that the figure was blond. As he moved in closer to get a better and more secure look, he noticed the figure. It was his half-sister, Becca. Bloody little sister. Just as he were about to get some alone time, she had to walk in his life. He sighed making his way closer to where she was and leaned himself on the railing. "Hey, chill. It's just me, Avery," He smirked, chuckling a very cold chuckle. "How's my little 'Ravenclaw' doing?" He teased.

There was a pause and Becca realized who it was. Ugh, it was Avery. They might act 'friendly' to each other, but for her, this was something personal. It was his fault that she ended up the second rate child. He pushed her off the edge of 'Daddy's petastool' and for that, she despised him. Either way, Becca lowered her wand and smiled coldly, gazing over him. "Ah, that's no fun. You're not a challenge," she said and leaned against the wall. Even from across the room she could feel the tension. The only thing she could think about it was that it was definitely tense. She glanced at her stepbrother and rolled her eyes.
Personally, she couldn't see what was so special about him. Avery might get a lot of girls, but to her, he was still the same pain from when they were kids. He shouldn't have been the one who got into Slytherin. She should have! Becca glared at her brother for reminding her about her house. The house that she shouldn't have been in. "I'm doing fine. Then again, I'd rather be the one passing all my exams rather than hitting on every person he meets," she sneered. She knew that he should know better than to tease her that way. Becca and Avery never seemed to have gotten along. He was the one to always get praised that he was such a 'good kid' and everything. Instead, she was always looked and they'd say, "Oh, this the veela's girl?" like she was some kind of junk! She hated it and she hated him.
Becca shook her head, knowing that it was most likely they'd never get along. She glanced down at her shoes, knowing he'd probably say something more about how she wasn't Daddy's favorite. Whatever. Her brown eyes looked sharply at Avery before asking the obvious question, "What are you doing here?" Her voice having a slight leer at the end of it, "I thought you'd have something better than to hang out with your sister."
