This is Demetri Kalle Selkirk. He's the History of Magic teacher at Hogwarts, and he is a pureblood. However, he is completely neutral, neither hating Voldemort nor siding with him. He's a strange teacher, but a good one, and almost all of his students love him, even the arrogant purebloods. He can be sarcastic, but normally he prefers friendly teasing and jokes.
I'm still the optimist, though it is hard
Demetri would have a lot of friends; coworkers, students, etc. He's really nice, and he's different in a way that's refreshing. He's not sure if he would be seen as a "father figure;" maybe a big brother. If somebody likes music, especially guitar or singing, they would automatically be in his good book. If not, he'd probably try to teach them, though would stop if they protested vehemently.

However, he might have a few enemies. Parents of purebloods who's precious child he's punished, definitely. A few kids who are immune to his charm and humor, maybe. Adults who are angry he won't take side in the war, though what side they are on doesn't matter.
I shall not love, yet I'll still sing about it
Demetri is currently single, mostly because he has no life. He spends all his time teaching, occasionally *gasp* going outside to goof off. He would like to get a girlfriend, and as long as she likes music and laughing, they would be good.

As soon as my stupid outside life stops interfering, I'd love to start a thread and have them RP ^^
